Ivana Page 2023 Studio Policy
Thank you for choosing me as your private lesson teacher! In order to ensure that you or your child get the most effective and creative teaching possible, I have established the following policies:
Missed Lessons
Students may cancel a lesson for any reason and receive a make-up lesson as long as the cancellation is made by 8:00AM the day of the lesson. Make-up lessons will not be given for cancellations after 8:00AM on the day of a lesson or for not showing up. In the event of a day-of cancellation (after 8:00AM) or a no-show, the students will still be liable to pay for the lesson they missed. Of course, life happens! Therefore, there is one exception per session (Fall, Spring, Summer); students can receive a make-up lesson for canceling the day of their lesson or not showing up once per session. Any lessons canceled by the teacher may receive a make-up lesson. The teacher will never cancel on the day of a lesson with the exception of extreme circumstance or contagious sickness.
Payment Policy
Payment must be made at or before each lesson. Payment methods include cash, check, Venmo, and Zelle. Payment may be made in monthly increments or per lesson. Late payments will result in a late fee of $5 per week.
Dismissals and Termination
If for any reason you must stop lessons, one month’s notice is required. Regrettably, I will have to dismiss a student if any of these circumstances occur:
Communication
If you need to miss a lesson, please notify me as soon as possible. Feel free to email me at pageivana@pleasval.org or ivanapage22@gmail.com or text me at 630-880-1480 anytime. I am less responsive to phone calls due to my busy schedule. However, I love hearing from you and keeping you updated on your child’s progress!
Student Commitment and Materials
Regular practice is the most effective way to see quick improvement. Students should aim to practice for at least 15 minutes, 5 days a week. Students will also be responsible for printing the sheet music I send. Sheet music should be neatly organized in a binder.
